Founder and Lead Teacher at Patva Yoga
Arpana is RYT-500 certified under the guidance of renowned teacher, Jason Crandell.
Arpana's journey into the world of yoga began in her childhood, where she was introduced to the practice by her mother. As a curious child, she would observe and imitate, laying foundation for her lifelong connection with yoga.
Arpana completed her informal yoga teacher training in 2002. However, it was a pivotal moment in 2017 that ignited her passion for yoga. After experiencing significant improvements in her health and well-being through meditation, Arpana's curiosity about her body's potential grew. It was during this time she completed RYT-200 training to deepen her knowledge and understanding of yoga. Over the next serveral years, Arpana honed her skills and gained valuable insights into the practice, blending modern movement-based yoga with ancient yogic techniques.
I offer a variety of classes for beginners and advanced practitioners.
I'm also certified to teach pre-natal, and kids' yoga.
My practice blends skills rooted in ancient wisdom, and modern mind-body sciences.
In my classes, I will help you achieve an equilibrium of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being
I am thankful to Arpana for her incredible contribution and help to my recovery from chronic neck and back pain through her yoga classes. She designed a special program to suit my specific needs and extended amazing support beyond her committed schedule. Arpana is always available for any questions, brings in a lot of positive energy and inspires us to practice yoga.
Arpana's yoga sessions offer scientific explanation of ancient techniques and helped me understand the power of yoga. The sessions I took enhanced my focus levels and were instrumental in managing my stress levels. Her friendly and calm demeanor creates a comfortable environment for all levels of yoga learners.
Arpana is very welcoming and presents options for people with varying abilities. She has a calm and accepting presence and she chooses to wear a mask in class although it is now optional, which shows respect for all of the participants.
Arpana is an exceptional yoga instructor. I have been practicing yoga for over a decade and her classes have been the most transformational experiences I've spent on my mat! As an athlete I struggle with tight hips and neck/shoulder injuries and her classes have helped me more than physical therapy. Arpana fosters a powerful mind-body connection, and safely builds up to challenging, big release poses in every class. Highest recommend!
Arpana is highly skilled, and a positive and welcoming instructor. She focuses on the beginner as well as the advanced practitioner in her well attended classes. I am a 76 year old who has always been physically active, but never taken Yoga. I am more than pleased that I have found Arpana has an instructor.
